****CYNICAL WARNING****JESS IS HAVING A BAD DAY****
So I went for the much dreaded root canal today.. it was pretty much the worst thing ever. I want to cry. Ok, so I'm crying just a little.
My mouth hurts, I'm tired and I still have so much to get finished before I get a break. The one consolation I'm clinging to right now is the fact that in 5 years, today will not matter one bit. In fact in 5 years I will laugh at my undergrad days where I pulled more all-nighters than is ever advisable. In 5 years I will go to bed at nine o'clock.
Kind of funny how it makes me feel better to know that everything I'm doing right now has very little lasting value... all for that piece of paper, the degree, that once I have will very quickly decrease in value.
